The Exam

What Is the GAT (Qudurat)?

The General Aptitude Test (GAT), known in Arabic as Qudurat (القدرات), is the university-admission aptitude test administered by ETEC / Qiyas in Saudi Arabia. It measures your reasoning — not a memorized syllabus — so the students who score highest are the ones who train with the right strategy and practice.

  • Two sections: Verbal and Quantitative reasoning
  • ~120 multiple-choice questions, scored on a 1–100 scale
  • Required for university admission — usually 30–50% of your score
  • Your score stays valid for 5 years
  • Run by ETEC / Qiyas; taken in Arabic or English
  • An aptitude test — practice, patterns & timing win, not memorizing

Are the classes live, and how long do I have access?
ZamaTime runs a live GAT course every month. Every session is recorded and uploaded to the site, organised chapter by chapter, and stays available to you for a full year — so you can attend live or catch up on the recordings anytime.
Is the ZamaTime GAT course really taught in English?
Yes — completely. The live classes, recordings, question explanations, strategies and student support are all in English. It is built for international-school and English-curriculum students who shouldn't have to translate in their heads while the exam clock is running.
Should I take GAT Basic or GAT Advanced?
If you're new to the GAT or want to rebuild your fundamentals, start with GAT Basic. If you already know the basics and want a high score, go to GAT Advanced for exam-level questions, strategies and the latest tajmeeat. For the complete path at the best price, take the Comprehensive bundle.
The GAT isn't based on a school syllabus — can a course really help?
Yes — that's exactly why a course helps. Because the GAT measures aptitude, your score is driven by recognizing question patterns quickly, applying the right strategies and managing time under pressure — all trainable skills built by our live classes, 4,800+ question bank, custom quizzes and updated tajmeeat.
What are tajmeeat?
Tajmeeat are collections of recent, real exam questions reported by students after sitting the GAT — one of the best ways to see the style, phrasing and difficulty you're actually likely to face. We keep our tajmeeat updated so your practice reflects the current exam.
